On 29 March 2014, TJDI researchers presented their work at the annual conference of the International Studies Association (ISA) in Toronto, in a panel entitled “Transitional justice across space and time: tracing pathways of influence on democracy”, receiving constructive comments on their initial research.  The full program can be found at http://www.isanet.org/Portals/0/Media/Conferences/Toronto2014/Toronto%202014%20-%20Full%20Program.pdf.

Immediately prior to the ISA conference, TJDI researchers took part in a one-day closed workshop on “Trials and Tribulations: Two decades of Transitional Justice Research and Practice”, organized by Rachel Kerr of Kings College London and Joanna Quinn of the University of Western Ontario.

At the business meeting of the Human Rights section of the ISA, Chandra was inaugurated as the new president of the section.
