Valerie Arnould gave a talk at the event ‘Justice in Africa. Perspectives from the Great Lakes Region’, organised by the London School of Economics’ African Leadership Programme. In her presentation, she discussed three key challenges for transitional justice in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda: addressing regional conflict dynamics, accountability of the security forces, and the role of amnesties in peace processes.
